The drinks were great. Nothing but country music though, which isn't really our style.

We used to come quite often because of a friend that worked here - the service was always great, the food was good (for bar food) and we had a great time just hanging out. Now that said friend is not longer there the service seems slower, the food isn't as great and the overall experience is just a little blah.

This bar was decent at best. The one thing that I can say is that their drink prices are pretty good. My biggest turn off with this place is that the service was really crappy. The bar was not that busy at all and we had a table. Waited there for about 20 minutes and got no service, so we went up to the bar and ordered our drinks. After we sat down at our table, the waitress decided to come by. We didn't get service again after. Place was dirty and featured all the typical characteristics of a good ol watering hole. To sum it up, this is a good hole in the wall place if you would like to drink a few.

I've been to a lot of bars here, but this one is my least favorite. If you want a lot of pool tables, then you'll be happy. Don't get the food, it's disgusting. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich is SUPER small, dry, and boring. I ordered the Slate Street fries and they were missing half the ingredients. My waitress brought me a beer I didn't even order, thankfully, they didn't charge me for it. Patron shots are $10 each, which is ludicrous! It's just ghetto. Go somewhere else, trust me. Check out the picture of these nasty ass fries!! Yuk! My tab was 60 bucks and it sucked.

Great place to watch your fav sports. Drink and food prices are pretty reasonable. Karaoke is always a great time there. Tons of pool tables. All in all a great time.

I like it! Been frequenting this bar for over a decade, still one of my favorite places.

Great if you want a quick drink and a game of pool. I think they have karaoke too on the weekends. The crowd can be rough though.

I came here on a Sunday to watch some football. Nice place. I wish it was closer to my house, though. Lots of pool tables and plenty of room. The tables look nice and well-maintained. It's very clean and modern. For sports, it's set up fairly well. There are lots of TVs of different sizes all around the place. On game day, they turn different games on in different areas, which allows like-minded fans to gather together. Their beer selection was impressive, with several of my local favorites, though the waitress wasn't fully versed on some of the beers their carried. My wife had a bloody mary and said it was very good. The food is not bad. About what you would expect, although their fries were excellent. I had the New Mexico turkey sandwich (I think every place in town has their own version of this). The chiles were HOT, but oh so tasty. Nice job. Service was painfully slow (40 minutes for a basket of fries? Really?), but picked up when they finally got another cook in the kitchen, apparently. The Minnesota Viking Fan Club meets here, so I will be back for sure. Maybe not every week, but often.

Came for lunch, food was good, service was good, price was a tad high for the food but not outrageous. Overall I would come again!!

Slate Street Billiards is a great place for billiards (who would have guessed :), watching sporting events, have a great meal, and tipping one or two or three. It is a large space catering to a variety of sports fans with a lot of large screen TVs. They have a great chef preparing meals and there is always a food or drink special to enjoy. I would especially like to thank Slate Street Billiards for hosting our Minnesota Vikings Fan Club of New Mexico by giving us a designated space where we can watch our favorite team play.

I've been here many times with the company I work for. It's very close to have gathering for happy hour. The appetizers are great. The salsa is made fresh along with the corn chips for the queso. The food is very good. It's your typical bar food, but the fries are what compliment any dish that's order. The waitresses are dressed VERY WELL AND FREE. ;) they are also very friendly. They addressed me as "babe" every time. They earned their tips, but continued to give us great service.

Good place to play pool WHEN they have there specials. Other wise it's a little pricy for pool time. MOST of the waitresses are really cool and always check on you. food is eh and way WAY over priced. 10$ for 10wings?! CRAZY!!!

Sunday ticket and lots of Steeler fans. Awesome! Ask for Colina.....she is the best waitress, even though she wears a Packers jersey

We split the 1/2 hamburger, just to try and diet. It was great, could have eaten it all. Fries were good. Tried two of the Marble Brewery Ales. Good selection on tap. About 15 pool tables, darts, TV' outdoor patio. Waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. It was a good place for us to relax close to home. We will go back.

I come here with my friends to watch football and every time it's been a good experience. They have tons of TV's and good seating to see them all but the service can get pretty slow. Even though there are cocktail waitresses, I recommend ordering at the bar. Most of the food is so-so, but the wings are great.

Wow. Well lit. Some staff friendly, like Katrina. First time in a long time I had bartender actually take the effort to learn you name and call you by it. She even recommend food based after a few questions. Had the fish and chips, serving size littel small compared to other nearby places but tasted good. Third visit had the Philly steak sandwich and that was a microwave imitation. Most of the serving staff actually smile and look happy to be there. Prices on drinks ok. Pool tables a plenty and several widescreen TVs to watch. Plenty of parking being in a strip mall. No one part over noisy to the others. Went in on a karokee night and as annoying as it was, it did not over power to the bar location.

Lots on tap. The food is your average bar food. That's a compliment. Lots if pool tables and bar tables. Not much eye candy but a great place to have a fantasy draft or meet your married friends.

Many pool tables and a full bar; perfect way to waste an afternoon.

Play by yourself. It costs the same as it would cost you to share the table with 3 other people, thereby playing only 1/4 the time for the same price. Makes no sense.
